My Nikon D7000 got stolen in the pretty little port town of Arica in Chile the 21. Feb. Together with my 2700 photos and the rest of my hand luggage it was separated from me while being unaware. I managed to catch one of the thieves – a Peruvian girl whom I gave a slap around until police showed up. She ended up on the floor not moving and it made a big scene at the local bus station. I was mad and if people haven’t stopped me I would still be stomping her face flat. The two other Peruvians managed to get away with my bag and most importantly my photos. Luckily I got a back-up for the 600 best photos. Still I lost many great shots.  This scenario made me more paranoid and and try to keep my stuff tighter. Anyway life goes on and I have bought a new Nikon D7000.  Thought you should know…
