Consumed by Thailand means you easily get lazy and spend a lot of money while the time just fly away and you loose track of everything while bumping in and out of bars, gogos, massage parlors, discos and restaurants. Thailand has a way of making tourists feel confortable and king which makes it difficult to leave the country again because everything is so easy and cheap.
